To honor our 135th. Anniversary, we have opened the doors to our family’s private cellar to share an undisturbed jewel long kept in secret. Hand-selected from our oldest casks, this 35-year-old expression is a tribute to mastery and heritage.
Aged gracefully for over three decades, this exquisite rum is more than a spirit, it is a homage to traditional craftmanship and time itself.

The Decanter
Flor de Caña is aged naturally between the gentle breeze of the Pacific Ocean and the imposing presence of the San Cristóbal, Nicaragua’s most active volcano. This extraordinary setting, defined by volcanic richness and timeless beauty, inspired the creation of a truly unique decanter.
Its silhouette and sculpted ridges echo the majestic lines of the volcano itself, capturing its strength, elegance &ending legacy.

Each decanter is hand-finished and polished to perfection, made from fine crystal glass to highlight the warm golden hues of this remarkable liquid. More than a vessel, it is a tribute, an homage to the land, the time, and the spirit that define Flor de Caña.
Flor de Caña 35 Year is presented in a custom-crafted case made with american white oak, a tribute to the rich tropicallandscape that has nurtured this extraordinary rum since 1990.

The Liquid
Where were you in 1990? This journey of time, patience and devotion was just getting started. This barrel has rested undisturbed in the family’s private cellar, cradled by tradition and legacy. Until now.
Aged at our Flor de Caña Estate in Nicaragua, its soul was shaped by a rich volcanic terroir: just 10 km. from the majestic San Cristóbal volcano and 10 km. from the Pacific Ocean only 30 meters above sea level. This harmony of earth, sea and fire has gifted the rum with a bold character and an exquisitely smooth finish.

Tasting Notes
Nose
The long maturation in white oak barrels reveals deep aromas of toasted coconut, subtle pipe tobacco, and hints of antique wood, reminiscent of the elegance found only in this naturally aged rum.
Palete
Sumptuously smooth, the palate is both decadent and refined, offering a masterful interplay of dark, bitter chocolate and rich, buttery toffee, with a hint of caramelized apples, balanced by a measured oakiness that speaks to decades of patient barrel aging.
Finish
Lingering notes of soft licorice and roasted coffee beans mingle with a final flourish of burnt sugar and a faint, smoky woodiness. A faint minerality reminiscent of volcanic soil adds an intriguing earthy depth, ensuring the final impression is both elegant and hauntingly memorable.
